We want to share the beautiful journey of Sapan and Fiona’s 4 day Big Fat Indian Wedding that we had the pleasure of capturing through film.The couple chose The Real Bride for Cinematography and to produce a bespoke song for their First Dance. After the intial meeting we knew that these guys weren’t the typical couple, they were all about enjoying the moment and making sure that they could be their joking selves throughout the entire wedding period. They had beautiful venues booked for each of their events and weather permitted they wanted their traditional Hindu ceremony outdoors. We felt really excited about this Asian Wedding as the couple had full faith in us to produce something that would make their big day truly memorable.

For the First Dance, Sapan and Fiona didn’t have anything specific in mind, so we asked them to send us a short list of songs that they felt were most meaningful to them as a couple. This is where all the magic begins!! It’s not just about creating a mix of 2 song-it’s producing a song that is full of emotion, passion and most importantly love. For us sound and visual go hand in hand and we wanted to do a full production on the day. Keeping the outdoor theme in mind we created the concept for the dance floor area to give the illusion it was night time. With that area fully blacked out the candles twinkled in the background like stars in the sky, it looked truly magical. Performing their song live we had Jag Soul not only singing but playing the piano with a string quartet.

If theres one thing every bride prays for its for sunshine on her big day, Fiona must have prayed extra hard as it was one of the hottest days of the year! With the beautiful lake and grounds of the prestigious Ragley Hall as the backdrop, the Mandap setting looked like it was something out of a Rajastani Palace. Sapan and Fiona looked nothing less than a real Raja and Maharani and we took full advantage of doing a couple with them in the Great Hall.

For us capturing amazing footage is only half of the job, we then create the music for the trailer in true cinema style. Once we see the footage we know straight away what music is needed to bring the film to life. As this wedding had such a royal touch we scored the trailer with lots of energy but not forgetting the romance. We felt it would only be right to bring something new to the industry as we are always looking to raise the bar and set new standards, so we delivered a 5.1 surround sound score. We have bought the ultimate cinema experience for you to enjoy in the comfort of your own home. All we have to say is get the popcorn, sit back and enjoy!
